New "all-in-one" sealant for window joints: Hannoband-3E Easy
Thanks to the tape structure in three sealing levels, the new Hannoband-3E Easy fulfils all DIN requirements and guarantees permanently tight component connections. This is also confirmed by numerous test certificates.
The all-rounder for window sealing: Hannoband-3E Easy is suitable for stress groups MF1 and MF2, covers almost all joint widths and can be used in a variety of ways.
Multifunctional tapes must fulfil special test criteria - this is regulated by DIN 18542:2020. Depending on the stress, the tapes are assigned to certain groups: Stress group MF1 for exposed applications, MF2 for concealed applications. The sealing and insulation specialist HANNO has now developed a new "all-in-one" sealant for window connection joints: The innovative multi-functional tape "Hannoband-3E Easy" is suitable for both stress groups and almost all joint widths, fulfils DIN requirements, can be used in many ways and also scores points with a wide portfolio of current test certificates.
Three-level waterproofing with only one product
Thanks to its three-level waterproofing structure, Hannoband-3E Easy maintains its multiple functions and fulfils all requirements according to DIN 18542:2020:
- On the outside, it is weather-resistant and driving rain-proof (up to 1,050 Pa according to DIN EN 1027).
- On the middle level it insulates sound (up to 58 decibels) and heat
- From the inside it is airtight (an< 0.1 m³/h-m-(daPa)2/3) according to DIN EN 1026) and open to vapour diffusion
Hannoband-3E Easy exceeds RAL requirements
The pre-compressed, impregnated multifunctional tape made of flexible polyurethane foam meets all the criteria of a RAL quality-assured installation and is equipped with moisture-variable HANNO functional membranes. They ensure that it is more diffusion-tight on the wetter side than on the other. In this way, moisture is transported directly out of the joint, it can dry out all year round and there is no mould or structural damage. Further plus points: The durable Hannoband-3E Easy is very low in emissions, as confirmed by the "Emicode" eco-label. As a component of the Hanno-3E waterproofing system, it is also covered by the 15-year HANNO functional guarantee - proof of the resilience and durability of the tape.
Quickly installed all-rounder for permanently sealed joints
With its neutral running direction, the resistant Hannoband-3E Easy lives up to its name and can be applied quickly, easily and regardless of the weather. The self-adhesive tape is simply pressed onto one side of the window frame, where the strong adhesive ensures optimum adhesion. Fabricators save time and money: The different tape widths and thicknesses allow a wide variety of joint widths (MF1: 5 to 35 millimetres, MF2: 5 to 40 millimetres) and window profile thicknesses to be sealed and storage costs to be reduced. This makes Hannoband-3E Easy a real all-rounder and it can be used in a wide variety of applications depending on the degree of compression in the joint.
